Jordan's Crossing

Jordan’s Crossing, Inc. provides residential substance abuse and co-occurring disorder treatment services to eligible women with dependent children. Children 12 and under may accompany their mother to treatment. An on-site childcare is available for children while mothers attend treatment. Transportation to and from school is provided for children who are old enough to attend either Head Start or public school. Treatment services are provided for both mothers and children.

Chemical dependency and co-occurring disorder treatment is provided in a residential setting which allows clients a safe environment in which to participate in treatment. A planned regiment of twenty-four hours of professionally directed assessment and evaluation, care and treatment based on individual strengths allows an avenue for clients to successfully complete treatment. Residential services are designed to provide a variety of professional diagnostic and primary alcohol and other drug abuse treatment services for clients, their families, and significant others. Clients who meet this level of care are offered intensive primary treatment and must participate in at least twenty-four hours of structured chemical dependency rehabilitation services per week.

Residential treatment services for women and women with children are provided through a contract with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services with an average length of stay of between 6-9 months.

All residential services are designed to provide a variety of professional diagnostic and primary alcohol and other drug abuse treatment services for clients, their families, and significant others. Services include but are not limited to, individual, family, and group counseling, case management services and educational groups. An exercise room is available during unscheduled time.

OUTPATIENT COUNSELING SERVICES

Jordan’s Crossing, Inc. provides outpatient services to women, men, children, and families. Persons who do not meet ASAM criteria for outpatient services will not be admitted into the outpatient program, however consumers who meet criteria for residential services may be seen on an outpatient basis until a residential bed is available.

Chemical dependency treatment is provided in a safe environment in which women and their families can work on their issues of recovery. Outpatient services include individual, family and group counseling as indicated. Services are based on a professionally directed assessment and evaluation, individual and family strengths, needs and preferences in a trauma sensitive approach. Clients will be assessed for the appropriate level of care utilizing the ASAM criteria.

It is the vision of Jordan’s Crossing, Inc. that outpatient services offer a continuum of care for women and families who meet criteria. This provides ongoing contact with Jordan’s Crossing, Inc. after a participant has discharged from residential services as well as the initial point of contact for women with dependent children and/or their families who may be awaiting admittance into residential substance abuse treatment or are at risk of needing residential substance abuse services.

Outpatient services are provided on one wing of the current Jordan’s Crossing, Inc. residential treatment facility.
